When and how do I need to  pay?

Our standard booking terms are a 50% deposit within a few days via direct deposit, credit card or cheque.  We will email you booking confirmation with useful information and  a link to pay securely on-line (please note when paying online FULL payment is required).  The balance is then payable 14 days prior to arrival.  We will send you a reminder when your final payment is due.

NOTE: When paying by credit card a surcharge of 1.9% is added on.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Cancellation of confirmed bookings (where payment has been made) will attract a AUD$50 (inc GST) administration fee in addition to the Cancellation Fee of the Service Provider/Operator and any booking fees that might be applicable. We reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation/tour of a similar standard in the case of the accommodation/tour operator overbooking their property or for any reason beyond our control. Please view the operator’s cancellation and indemnity policy before paying for your booking. 

Bright Escapes Standard Cancellation Policy:

21-14 days prior to arrival - One night's accommodation. Within 14 days of arrival date - No refund. No shows - full tariff is charged. Guests who reduce length of stay once in house will not receive a refund on nights booked and paid. In all other circumstances Bright Visitors Centre terms and conditions apply.

**If a booking is deferred for any reason, you have six months to reuse it.**

Am I required to leave a bond?

 A bond/booking form with credit card details must be completed prior to tenancy. These details will be shredded after notification by the cleaner that the property has been left in good order. If you do not have a credit card, a bond of $400 cash in required upon arrival. This will be returned to you via cheque or EFT transfer after the cleaner has checked the property. No Keys will be left out after hours unless the booking is paid in full and the above conditions are met.

Can I bring my pet with me?

We have a range of Pet Friendly properties available , please ask our staff for pet friendly options. Pets are only allowed by arrangement with Bright Escapes. In those instances…

There will be a $40 once off  pet fee.
Please bring your own bedding and bowls for your pets.
Do not allow pets on bedding and furniture.
Do not lock pets inside while you are out. We do not take responsibility for pets left in courtyards or fenced gardens, you must do so at your own risk.
Constant barking and/or howling is not acceptable. 

Where do I collect the keys?

Please see your email itinerary for key collection details specific to the property you have booked.
 Keys for properties managed by Bright Escapes are collected from Bright Visitors Centre.  If you are arriving after hours arrangements can be made for key collection.

What time can I check in and check out?

Standard check in time is 2pm and check out is 10am for most properties. Please see your itinerary or check with staff when booking.
If you require an early check in or late check out, arrangements can be made, please just ask our friendly staff.
