| Rundells Alpine Lodge has now reopened its doors in the heart of Dinner Plain, reviving the sophisticated and gracious hospitality for year round alpine travellers.
The lodge has been named in recognition of a history dating back to 1904 when Charlie and Catherine Rundell originally opened the lodge on Flour Bag Plain, adjacent to what is now Dinner Plain village. Charlie and Catherine were pioneers in the area and were at the forefront of early alpine hospitality.

Directions: From Melbourne: Fly from Melbourne Airport to Hotham Airport with QantasLink Airlines. A range of transport options are available from Mount Hotham Airport ranging from a 45 seat coach or private 4WD taxis.
DRIVE - take the Hume Highway to Wangaratta and then the Great Alpine Road via Bright and Harrietville, travel time is about 4.5 hours. Distance 357km.
Or take the Princes Highway to Bairnsdale and the Great Alpine Road via Omeo and Dinner Plain, travel time is about 5.5 hours. Distance 457km.

Booking Conditions and Deposits
* Deposit of 50% required within 7 days to confirm booking.
* Balance due 14 days prior to arrival.
* Check in 4pm.
* Check out time 10am. Any incidentials charged to your room must be finalised on departure.
* Mastercard Visa Amercian Express and Eftpos accepted. A 3% credit card service charge applies to American Express. Cheques are payable to Rundells.
* Booking restrictions apply during Peak Season. Two night stays Friday & Saturday only. Five night stays Sunday to Thursday. Minimum 4 night stay mid week.
* An additional cleaning fee of $200 will be charged for any rooms that are smoke damage
Security Deposit
Guests booking accommodation are responsible for any loss from or damage to guestrooms. A credit card swipe is required upon check in as a security deposit. In the absence of a credit card a current Drivers Licence must be provided.
Cancellations
Cancellations made 28 days prior to arrival warrant a full refund less a flat rate booking fee of $50.
Cancellations made less than 28 days prior will receive no refund unless fully rebooked to another party where by a complete refund will be provided less a flat rate fee of $50. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Snow Guarantee
If there are fewer than 5 lifts operating at Mount Hotham due to a lack of snow 3 days prior to the commencement of your ski holiday you may choose to receive a credit or full refund on all pre-paid accommodation and lift company product. All payments shall be refunded excluding any fees or charges imposed by travel agents or wholesalers.
