Pack a picnic hamper or get Braeview to prepare one for you a short walk beside the river and picnic lunch to enjoy and savour - the Bogong High Plains temperatures are traditionally 12 to 15 degrees cooler during summer months.
Swimming or tubing (inner tubes for hire at local outlets) in the river is very refreshing and invigorating and a good way to cool down on a hot day.

The Bogong High Plains Road is now a completely sealed road, why not try the 240 klm round trip from Mt. Beauty taking in Falls Creek, Omeo, Mount Hotham and returning to Mt. Beauty via the Tawonga Gap Road. PLEASE NOTE THIS ROAD IS CLOSED DURING THE DESIGNATED SNOW SEASON EACH YEAR.

More than 14 days notice given: full refund applies less 15% cancellation charge and commission
8 - 13 days notice given: 50% refund applies less 15% cancellation charge and commission
7 days or less notice given: sorry no refund
Consideration should be given to seeking travel insurance (particularly for longer stays) to cover cancellation costs medical or other emergencies that may arise. SECURITY DEPOSIT Via pre authorisation of your credit card on arrival this amount is $300.00 and is at the Managers discretion.
At Braeviews discretion negligent/malicious damage loss or theft of property will be charged to your credit card at full replacement cost.
We have a non smoking policy inside our accommodation - at Braeviews discretion an airing fee will be charged to your credit card (one days tariff) if it is found you have smoked in your accommodation.
A late check-out fee will be charged if your check-out time has not been adhered to.
An excess cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card if deemed necessary. VISITORS: Visitors during the day are welcome in self contained accommodation this should be pre organized with Braeview first.
Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate visitors in Traditional B&B rooms in the main residence.
